The Muszyna Almanac Collections
Bożena M¶ciwujewska - Kruk and Ryszard Kruk collect documents relating to the subject of the former Muszyna state area. The whole includes several collections. They are available in the editorial office for those who are interested, and replies are also given to interested parties in writing and by telephone.
A thematic list of collections is given below:
A. Old Muszyna postcards
The collection includes more than 500 postcards issued in the years 1900-1950. The collection has been described in the X Annual Muszyna Almanac. (R. Kruk, Muszyna on past postcards).
B. Old Żegiestów postcards
The collection includes more than 500 postcards issued in the years 1899-1950. The collection was described in an article which appeared in the 2001 issue of the Muszyna Almanac. (R. Kruk, Żegiestów on past postcards, page 145).
C. Old Krynica postcards
The collection includes more than 1,000 postcards issued in the years 1900-1950, and was described in the 2002 edition of the Muszyna Almanac (R. Kruk Krynica on past postcards)
D. Muszyna documents
The collection includes all manner of documents connected with natural and legal people working in the Muszyna area in the period from the second half of the XIX century till 1945.
E. Muszyna court documents
The collection includes more than 300 letters and other documents dating from the years 1860-1939 connected with the Muszyna court as well as the period when it was functioning in Krynica. Part of the collection has been described in the 2003 Muszyna Almanac (R. Kruk, proof of posting forms 1870-1945. Muszyna, Krynica, —egiestów, page 91)
F. Postal documents
The collection includes more than 1,000 so called proof of posting forms, that is documents confirming the delivery of correspondence to persons and institutions within the Muszyna, Krynica, Żegiestów areas and other areas belonging to the former Muszyna state.
G. Books, guide books, maps and other publications.
The collection includes over 100 books, several tens of guidebooks and several maps issued from the end of the XIX century to the present day, regarding the region in question.
